The story of why this theme came to be is quite simple. In making the move from Sublime Text to Atom, I couldn’t find a theme for Spacegray Eighties. At that point I had two options. Be useful and port an existing, popular theme, or make my own. I chose to make my own for funsies. In a way, Chicken Syntax is loosely based on Spacegray.
I own a green cheek conure that goes by the name of Chicken, so I based the theme on him. The blue, green, red and beige and shades of gray are all loosely based on what you would find on one of these birds. Except for the purple. The only reason that colour is there is to keep certain colourings consistent from what I’ve become used to with past themes.
Good catch. Let us know what about this package looks wrong to you, and we'll investigate right away.
