ipython-run

Run python file being edited in Atom in an ipython session running inside a terminal, that remains open after execution for more interactivity. The same session is used in all subsequent runs. Tested on Manjaro Linux, but should work in any other distro. Supports Mac OS X and Windows (not yet, really) as well. On OS X, the reference terminal application is iTerm2, on Windows the standard terminal is called, and on Linux any terminal emulator can be used.

On Linux, it requires xdotool and wmctrl to be installed; please install it with your distro package managers, for example: Ubuntu/Debian:

sudo apt-get install xdotool wmctrl

Arch:

sudo pacman -S xdotool wmctrl

Note: This package is a fork of atom-ipython-exec, which in turn is a fork of r-exec.

I think this package is bad news.

Good catch. Let us know what about this package looks wrong to you, and we'll investigate right away.
